With Akademy and other stuff going on, it looks like the report on the KDE Finance Sprint didn't make it to the front page. I would like to thank Guillaume and the other people who helped put the report together, and of course, the board, Claudia, Thomas and Syrocon, who enabled the sprint to happen at all.
PS. As you can see in the comment below, it will be published shortly, so I've removed the link in the meantime.

The sprint is now over and almost everybody is back home. By this time, Cristian is probably taking his plane or already in flight and I'm to take the plane back home tonight.
The schedule was packed with overviews of the applications, possible integration use cases and ideas to work together, everything in a very good atmosphere. This was my first sprint and it was amazing to see everyone work so hard and in such a good mood.
Also, as expected from a German location, we had good beers every night, and in good variety.

Guillaume and Klaas already blogged about the meeting so far. Here are some pictures. More will come in the next days.
First one is a picture from Frankfurt airport, that really caught my attention. The flight for me was really pleasant, but it shows that there were big issues the days before.
And here are some photos of the meeting

I'm here waiting for news from Lufthansa whether my flight will finally take place or not. Over the weekend, it seemed like a no go, but today the skies seemed to be better. So, it looks like this dragon is going to finally make it to Frankfurt. The next checkpoint is tomorrow at 6am when the incoming plane is supposed to take off from Frankfurt to Buenos Aires. It should arrive at 7pm and my flight departs at 9pm back to Frankfurt.

It's still pending the KDE e.v.'s board budget approval, but if everything goes ok, we are going to have our first meeting during the final days of April in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

We now have a mailing list where all the KDE Finance apps can subscribe and get together. For now, it's Skrooge, Kraft and KMyMoney, but I'm sure others will follow.
If you are in any way related or you are simply willing to help us get our act together, the mailing list is kde-finance-apps@kde.org. Thanks, David!
Now, to plan our first meeting to conquer the finance world!
