KMyMoney KDE4 is alive!!!

KMyMoney is alive in KDE4, and not kicking, but it's coming to that.

Actually, it's seriously crippled, as you can see in this screenshot, but slowly and steadily we will get it in good shape.

Anyway, we have a long way ahead, but it's nice to see it making progress. Even if we have a daunting task ahead of us, these moments of small success are a good incentive. Now, it's just a matter of going widget by widget, making sure everything works like it did before. :)

Wonderful!

I can't wait until this becomes fully mature. There are so many things that the new KDE4 technology can offer KMyMoney4. Nepomuk tagging of my expenses! Chart flakes for embedding into koffice! An Akonadi resource for storing my financial data on a central server and accessing it from multiple clients! Maybe even possible plasma goodness.

Rock awesome. :-)

Nice to see progress

That are great news! It is the latest KDE3 application in use. Is there already a roadmap ?

Great

Kmymoney is perfect to me now, thanks for taking care of it !

no small task

KMyMoney is full of lists, and probably the switch to Model/View framework is one of the biggest changes in Qt3->Qt4.

Amarok is also full of lists; it took us quite a while to port to KDE4. Granted we also took it as an opportunity to refactor a lot of what we were doing since Amarok 1.4's codebase couldn't handle new features well. So it probably shouldn't be too bad if you don't have to do that. :)

Anyways, big fan of KMyMoney 0.9 here. Congrats on getting the KDE4 version to link, I look forward to it.

Yay!

KMyMoney and Konversation are my last KDE 3 apps, so I'm very happy that porting is happenning.
