Today, after some mail exchange with Thomas Baumgart and Laurent Montel, I decided to put my kde svn account to use, and I created a folder for KMyMoney in kde/playground. You can find it in http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/office/kmymoney/

I commited the folder I had been working on these last few days. There is still a lot to go, but we will get there. For now, I'm fighting the cmake scripts to have automoc run correctly.

Funny, today I read a post that Skrooge is also being moved to playground for tighter integration with KDE.
