A new icon for the new version of KMyMoney?

We have been without a designer in the team and I have done some minor design jobs here and there. This time, I turned my attention to the icon which, in my opinion, needs an urgent update.

Here is the current icon:

And here are the new ones I have put together:

I can't assure the icon will be changed, but if you want to speak up, this is the time.

Third one

I like the third one. The gold K and text around the coin.

The original might look "plain" and simple, but I think the third has the quality to be good at 16x16 size but still have details for bigger size for webpages and promotion stuff. The text just is "...for KDE" old?

Its the same old text

The text is our old slogan "Personal finance manager for KDE".

Over at the forum, Hans has put together a couple of versions which I think might make the final cut.

I like the actual one

Well, call me weird, but I prefer your original icon, it's closer to oxygen than the new ones you drawn. I can't really say why, maybe it has to do with volume ? Oh well, just use the one that you like, or add a new icon request to that famous list we need to send to Oxygen gurus... ;)

sounds maybe hard after working on new icons, but i like the old one too. same reason like guillaume
