Not all source compatible to qt3?

I just ran into this sentence in a README file: "But qt4 is not at all source compatible to qt3" After 6 months, a couple hundred commits in the new repository, and a lot of sweat and tears, I found this to be kind of a misunderstatement. It made me laugh, though.

The README belongs to AqBanking, btw, which I'm compiling right now to try the just ported aqbanking plugin. Cristian and the rest of the made a terrific port and ported it in a couple of days. That paves the way for a release, with only a couple of issues left to solve.

UPDATE: My bad. My eyes played me a trick last night, but anyhow it got a chuckle out of me just to think how hard we have been working on this port.

Doesn't "not at all" mean (in this context at least), completely different?

Yes, "not at all" translates

Yes, "not at all" translates to "en absoluto". Which isn't entirely correct, many parts of Qt 4 are indeed compatible with Qt 3, especially when using the compatibility library and the qt3to4 conversion tool.

But...

Check the post title.. it says 'not all source compatible' - dropping the 'at' and therefore changing the meaning. It's like 'not at all fun' vs 'not all that fun'!
