
This is one of the changes that was not documented anywhere, and that I don't even have a good grasp of what it does. If I understand correctly, it returns a list of all the events in the application.
It was being used as a method of KApplication, but now there was not even the mention of it, only elliptically mentioned on the See also section of the API docs. After looking around, comparing the previous and the current specs and some searching, I found that it was a method of QApplication, which has been moved to the newly created QCoreApplication. After some more hacking, I was finally able to make it compile.
