KMyMoney for KDE4 will be KMyMoney 4.0

After some deliberation, the development team decided to stick to the original name. Even if there were many good submissions and unprecedented participation of the community (at least by KMM standards), none was able to gain the heart of the team over the original name. I liked some of the proposed names, but mine is only 1 vote.

So, over the last weeks, Cristian dedicated time to drop the '2' of all the code and configuration files. As with any big change, there were some glitches here and there, but they should all be fixed now. A side-effect of this change is that you should be able to run both versions (kde3 and kde4) side-by-side.

Why bumping the version number from 1.0 to 4.0? Well, there were major changes, so releasing it as 1.1 made no justice to it. Then, dropping the '2' on the name, and releasing KMyMoney 2.0 was going to be kind of confusing. The same applies for 3.0. KMyMoney 3.0, for KDE4. All in all, it was easiest and clearest to just bump version number to 4.0 and be done with it. In time, if we sync our releases with KDE, we will bump it up to 4.5 or 4.6.

We are now working hard on fixing the last issues to release a beta, which will be version 3.95. The pending issues at the moment are the GPG encryption and a crash when leaving the application idle on the back (my guess is that's something to do with showEvent() catching an event it shouldn't).
